Windprints
(1989) is the story of Anton Van Heerden (Sean Bean), a
young news cameraman, who is assigned to the desert of
Namibia to cover the manhunt of a brutal and deadly
renegade African called Nhadiep. With the help of veteran journalist Charles Rutherford (John Hurt), Anton attempts to piece together an in-depth report, only to find himself drawn between the two things he holds dearest - work and his country. Driven by his burning desire to reveal the truth, Anton takes the law into his own hands and heads off into the backlands where is is confronted by the unltimate dilemma....to sacrifice his beliefs in the face of violent conseqences, or brutally confront the only man who holds the key to the truth...... |
