Troy

 

 

 Troy brings Homer's Iliad to the big screen, and is currently in production. Principal photography should be wrapped by the end of September.

Homer's Illiad tells the story of 10 years of bloody battle between the Greeks and the Trojans. The war was sparked by Tojan Paris (Orlando Bloom) seducing Menelaus' wife Helen and taking her back to Ilium (Troy)

Odysseus was the son of Laetres and ruler of Ithaca and the hero of Homer's Odyssey. The Odyssey tells of his epic 20 year journey home after the Trojan war.

Odysseus was know for his quick thinking and was the brain behind the famous wooden horse. He  was a favourite of the Goddess Athene.
